I started the challenge last week at the Salvadoran food truck Guanaco located at the corner of Seymour and Georgia.
Truck: Guanaco
Type of Food: Salvadoran
Sidekick: Kristina
Food Ordered: Revueltas, Pasteles, Cebada to drink
The Verdict: Yum!!! I had never tried Salvadoran food but I can't wait to get back to this truck and try some more of their food! Revueltas is a sealed corn tortilla with yummy goodness inside. The Pasteles, although fried, were moist and filled with healthy veggies - which made up for the unhealthiness of the frying. The Cebada drink was pink and tasted like cinnamon. It was absolutely delicious!
Favourite Thing About This Truck: I loved that they offered a type of food that you can't find elsewhere in Vancouver - well maybe you can, but I've never tried it before!
Accessibility: Great location. Directly across from the Granville Sky train station Seymour street exit.
